Have you set "System wallpaper" enabled for your home screen? If so, how do you set the tile effect and styles to match well to your wallpaper? There is a simple and well-known solution to do this as you know already. It's using several tile background effects in Home options > Tile size & style. Take a look at these screenshots where "Blurred" and "Transparent" effects are used respectively. Another way is just disabling effect and applying translucent styles to tiles like in this screenshot. However, I think it's a little bit still boring even though they are great features that cannot be found in the other launchers. You might want to make it more colorful and fancy. But selecting tile colors to match them well to the wallpaper is pretty hard and annoying. There is a good solution in the case.
