Some users ask why their selection using the sorting button on the bottom menu bar of the App drawer (or Contacts) is not saved. To put it simply, this is because that button was implemented to be used for "temporary sorting." For example, if you're curious about which apps have been recently updated, you can easily check by selecting "Recently updated." To "permanently" set the sorting order of the App drawer or Contacts, you can go to the Home options, navigate to the App drawer or Contacts section, and select "Sort order." Square Home provides powerful backup and restore features through the Backup Center. The Backup Center can be accessed from the menu or the Home options. Click the "+ button" at the bottom to create a backup, and all data including the currently set layout, options, folders, and categories will be saved. To restore the created backup, click the backup name. Uncheck (default) the box below to restore the folders and categories at the time of backup creation. If checked, the current folders and categories will be maintained. When the backup is restored, third-party shortcuts or widgets will need to be reconfigured. This is because the actual data for the shortcuts or widgets is on the third-party app side, and Square Home cannot save them when backing up.
