Some users ask why their selection using the sorting button on the bottom menu bar of the App drawer (or Contacts) is not saved. To put it simply, this is because that button was implemented to be used for "temporary sorting." For example, if you're curious about which apps have been recently updated, you can easily check by selecting "Recently updated." To "permanently" set the sorting order of the App drawer or Contacts, you can go to the Home options, navigate to the App drawer or Contacts section, and select "Sort order."
